The ASE Staff are professionals who teach in a full range of subject areas. As well as conducting classes, ASE teachers are available to students for one-on-one consultations outside of class time to discuss course material, assist with problems and enrich student experience. Individual consultations with teachers can be booked for the current week on a Consultation Sheet posted on each teacher's door. Consultation Sheets for the following week are in the ASE office on the wall opposite the staff and student mailboxes.
The ASE Head of Program Darren Livesey, is a teacher as well as school administrator. Darren makes time in each day to help students with a variety of issues related to their success in school and life.
The ASE Office Administrator Lynda Cox, is the friendly and efficient voice on our phone and is happy to help students and staff keep on top of their daily activities at ASE. All ASE students have a mailbox in the office to check each day for notices and returned assignments. ASE also uses the online program Moodle, so that students always have access to school news as well as information and assignments for each course.
ASE also has the regular support of a board counselor for those students who need mental health assistance.
